This video shows you how to use regular expression to rearrange lines into two or three columns in Notepad++. It uses search and replace feature in Notepad++.

Example
=======
line1
line2
line3
...
line12

FOR TWO COLUMNS
===============
SEARCH FOR: "^(.*)$\r\n^(.*)$"
REPLACE WITH: "\1 \2"

FOR THREE COLUMNS
=================
SEARCH FOR: "^(.*)$\r\n^(.*)$\r\n^(.*)$
REPLACE WITH: "\1 \2 \3"
