Travel Australia by 4WD | QLD EP8 | Goodbye from Morrinya NP, Forest Den NP and Cracow Beach
Join Terry and Jill from @Jafffa Adventures on this awesome Queensland 4WD journey. We travel north along the Queensland Coast between Brisbane and Townsville and visit all the hidden away 4WD spots we can find before turning inland and travelling back south through the Queensland outback. Our aim is to visit as many hidden four wheel drive spots that we can, and enjoy off the grid camping and overlanding.
The other main purpose of our trip is to spend some time and money in remote communities that have been hit hard by Covid-19 and the resulting travel restrictions. We try and play our part in helping remote Australia get back on track.
In this final episode, number 8, we finish up our trip in the Queensland outback. We leave White Mountain National Park at travel due south visiting Moorinya National Park and Forest Den National Park. These two lonely and seldom visited national parks are both well worth a visit and we show you why we think this is the case. Our last camp for the trip sees us visit Cracow Beach with it's majestic Livistonia palms. We tour the town of Cracow before finishing our journey up back in Brisbane. It's a odd ghostly little town and well worth a visit. We have not been anywhere quite like it. Great camping, starry skies, isolation, and remote four wheel driving continue to be the themes of this final episode.
