ESP-IDF 6 is here, so let’s get it installed and running properly in Visual Studio Code.
In this video, I walk through setting up ESP-IDF v6.0.1 using the VS Code ESP-IDF extension, creating a new Blink project for an ESP32-S3, configuring the project with menuconfig, flashing the board, monitoring the serial output, and even getting JTAG debugging working.
