Decimal to Octal Conversion
I have shown how to convert decimal number to octal number using repeated division and repeated multiplication method. Repeated multiplication method is used for fraction part of decimal number and repeated division method is used for integer part of decimal number. 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 digits are used in decimal number and 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7 are used in octal number. Therefore base 10 numbers are decimal numbers and base 8 numbers are octal numbers. -Deepti Mukherjee
