What started as an innocent idea turned into a large-scale production for just the two of us.

Erwan and I worked on this for a while. The goal was to shoot something bigger than we’d imagined, and most importantly, to have fun doing it. In a time where I’ve felt full of doubt about where I want to go with my filmmaking career, this project gave me such a boost in the right direction.
We shot the studio part at Studio2Go in Haarlem, since my own space was way too small for what we had in mind.
Originally we wanted a classic ceiling setup, but with no real budget, I decided to build it myself, with help from Het Licht Amsterdam for grip & rigging, and most importantly, the incredible 600C Novas from Aputure Europe. Being able to dial in light, create scenes, and control everything from the iPad was a dream.
Erwan and I did everything ourselves, but during the studio setup we had a few helping hands we’re super grateful for. Thanks Eileen Varkel, Valentijn Stomp, and Gabriele Farinella for jumping in!
