Learn the basics of SQUID caching proxy server by examples in Ubuntu 20.04.3 step by step
In this video, I will show you how to configure the Squid caching proxy server in order to grant or restrict Internet access, and how to configure a http client, or web browser, to use that proxy server.
So my Testing Environment Setup consists of two Ubuntu 20.04.3 virtual machines running on VirtualBox:
Ubuntu 1: Running the Squid Server
Ubuntu 2: The first client
Windows client: which is my host Windows machine.
Squid is a proxy server that caches content to reduce bandwidth and load web pages more quickly.
