Dune News: David Dastmalchian Talks Piter De Vries & DUNE 2021 Script
Recently actor David Dastmalchian who portrays the twisted Mentat Piter De Vries in Denis Villeneuve's Dune 2021, sat down with "Slash Film" and "We Got this Covered" to discuss Villeneuve's Dune and his role in it. In this video I’d like to examine his comments and what this tells us about this highly anticipated film. Dune is David Dastmalchian’s third time working with acclaimed filmmaker Denis Villeneuve. He is also a huge fan of Frank Herbert’s Dune novel so the actor provides a unique perspective and insight when it comes to the source material itself and Villeneuve’s efforts to bring it to life on screen.
