Define Load Combinations for Multistoried Steel Structure in Staad Pro V8i V#07
Staad Pro is a structural analysis and design software is being used across the world. Most Engineers using this for steel structure analysis and design. I am also using this for steel structure analysis and design. In this video tutorial series you will learn how to do a complete multistoried (5 storied) steel structure analysis and design using Staad Pro V8i software. Any kind of steel structure including shed building, multistoried, truss roof, haunch rafter can be designed using this program. I have used build up section for Column and beam. If you have hot rolled section then you can use from the available member size in the list.
In this video you will learn how to define load combination for multistoried steel structure. Load combination is as per AISC ASD code. If you are using any other code then use your own load combination. I have also shown use of staad editor. Which is the advanced feature of Staad pro. If you are first time in staad pro do not use the staad editor command. Just do yourself by the first option one by one. Use of staad editor will reduce your time lots if you can understand. I have shown all the available combination for my code requirement. This number may be less or more depending on your code.
