A dating app is the focus of the German comedy Safari - Match Me If You Can, but can you really find true love with it?
Plot of Safari - Match Me If You Can: In the metropolis of Munich, many singles nowadays use the mobile dating app Safari, where one click can lead to the next one-night stand - or perhaps even to true love? Through Safari, Harry (Justus von Dohnányi) meets influencer Lara (Elisa Schlott), but the pilot is actually married to Aurelie (Sunnyi Melles). Therapist Aurelie (Sunnyi Melles), meanwhile, is trying to help her patient David (Max Mauff) lose his virginity, with the help of 50-year-old Mona (Juliane Köhler).
Through Safari, Mona then meets single father Life (Sebastian Bezzel). Fanny (Friederike Kempter) is also looking for a life partner and comes across Arif (Patrick Abozen), but unfortunately realizes too late that he's only after sex. Fanny tries to console herself with her next Safari date and clicks on Harry. But when she unexpectedly shows up at his door, it's not Harry who answers, but Aurelie.
