❤️ Hello Everyone
In this video, we'll see how to Connect Third-Party Domains to Shopify
📌 Follow these steps
👉 Step 1 - Find DNS Settings
Start by logging in to the account and finding your DNS settings.
It can be found in the domain management area which might look similar to this.
From the DNS settings, find the “www” CNAME record.
Change your CNAME record to point to “shops.myshopify.com”.
Note: If your domain already has “www” CNAME record, then you need to change these records to point to Shopify.
If you have a default “TTL Record”, you don’t need to update it.
The next record you want to change is the “A Record”.
Change this record to Shopify’s IP address, shown here and listed below.
Shopify’s IP address: 23.227.38.65
change the hostname to “@” if required
When you’re done making changes, click “Save”.
You can use these steps on different domain providers, let’s see an example
for Namecheap, from the domain list go to Manage - - Advanced DNS
Add www Cname record to point to Shopify and A record to Shopify’s IP address
and Save All changes
Note: The domain might connect immediately, but it can also take up to 48 hours for your custom domain to connect.
If it’s not connected after 48 hours, then contact your domain provider’s support for help.
