In this final video of my Next.js App Directory rendering methods series, we explore Partial Pre-Rendering (PPR).

PPR allows your app to render all the static parts of a page first, while dynamic parts load and render later—improving perceived performance and user experience. I’ll walk you through a practical example, using a suspense boundary, enabling PPR in next.config.js, and showing how it behaves in Chrome vs Safari.

If your dynamic content (API calls, database queries, etc.) takes too long to load, PPR can be a game-changer for your Next.js projects.

What you’ll learn:
What Partial Pre-Rendering is and how it works
Setting up suspense boundaries for dynamic content
Enabling PPR in Next.js 15 App Directory
