An anime-like reimagining opening for Ice Climber + Doki Doki Literature Club. This, of course, took a lot of time and effort to make and has to be one of my hardest-working videos on this channel. You can't make anything excellent without effort first. Why did I make this, you ask? Well, there's a lot of community appealing to anime up to this day, and I thought, why not make a Ice Climber/DDLC! anime spinoff or something to that effect? Anyways, hope you like it!

Why Ice Climber + DDLC! you ask? Well, not only is this crossover otherwise a huge rarity, but Ice Climber franchise is responsible for featuring one of the cutest and most iconic fictional characters in the world, the Ice Climbers. Their design is simple, yet adorable and charming altogether. These two look so identical to Kirby. Plus, nothing Nintendo has ever done across the NES/Famicom era has had greater reach and popularity than a simple platforming retro game with cute chibi mountaineers, like Popo and Nana themselves.
Not to mention Nana being the closest thing the Super Smash Bros. series and Doki Doki Literature Club had to a playable little girl, whose more friendlier than Sayori, not dissociative as Monika and Yuri, and not egotistic as Natsuki. That is not to say that Popo is not very close to a playable little boy to the gaming world as well. The Ice Climber franchise has just about everything to cross over mulitple different and cute video games across the world: cute characters, simple yet cute 8-bit sprites, inspiration, creativity, etc.
But when Ice Climber came across Doki Doki Literature Club!, that is when Ice Climber had the closest relation to a game that is vastly different, more especially an anime game. Popo and Nana have vastly similar appearances and personalities with each club member in DDLC, but there was a lot that meant so much more than that. The lore of both games, Ice Climber and DDLC, are simple yet very bizarre and thrilling, both games have had a striking peak of popularity and share of fans, the main characters of both games exalt in pure love by the public, and of course...
All of the characters are super cute!!
