Ambient Digitone + Tape + Microcosm || Coax
This is my first composition with the Elektron Digitone. I paired it up with the Marantz PMD 222 and the Hologram Microcosm which my buddy Winston lent me. I was surprised how comfortable the work flow on the Digitone felt because of having already worked with the Digitakt. It’s definitely it’s own animal but much of the Elektron workflow crosses over which is nice. I ran the Marantz at low speed for some additional flutter and the Microcosm lends some space and granular magic to the whole piece. The landscape footage was captured in the Coromandel, New Zealand on our journey back to the states. Thanks for listening.
