On April 19, 1995 a bomb exploded in Oklahoma City, heavily damaging the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. A total of 168 people were killed in the domestic terrorism attack. More than 500 others were injured. Arrested and sentencing for their role in the bombing was Timothy McVeigh, who was executed in 2011 and Terry Nichols, who continues to serve a life sentence.

The 27th anniversary of the attack will be marked in a remembrance ceremony in honor of those who were killed, those who survived and those changed forever by the Oklahoma City bombing on April 19, 1995.
