In the discussions surrounding this video, many comments have surfaced about how one shouldn't tar everyone with the same brush. I don't argue that historians and archaeologists—perhaps even the lion's share—are decent, professional people. I'm addressing archaeologists, professional historians—the examples I've cited are no secret; you've all seen and heard them time and time again. But why is everyone silent, failing to nip these instances of ignorance in the bud, so that others won't do the same? Your silence breeds new lies, new myths, and mystifications that pollute our history. It's not I, a simple man with a passion for history, who should be exposing these falsifications, but you, qualified historians. This is your fault, and you automatically become cogs in this "market archeology"...
