I sold my Beatmania 4th MIX Arcade Cabinet. I thought I would take a small video inside the cabinet. I have no idea why, but here it is!
You can actually switch out the mixes in these cabinets
You will need:
A JP DJ Main board or a US Hip Hop Mania Board (Beat Stage boards are untested)
A 2.5” PATA (laptop) hard drive (The drive you get should be at least 3 GB to fit the MAME image) Compact Flash & adapters have NOT been tested but MAY work
A method of connecting the hard drive or CF card to your computer to flash an image
10 M27C4001-10F1 chips
A ROM programmer & software or someone who will program the chips for you
A picture of your board to help you remember which chip goes where (the chips should already be labeled 01~10)
Optional: UV Eraser (for reusing existing chips)... It's basically a UV light haha!
