🤔UX designer, Service Designer and UI Designer what is the difference? In this Talking Design chapter I explain the difference between UX Designer, Service Designer and UI Designer. What do they do, how are their skills used? Are they the same or are they compatible?
User experience design, service design, and user interface design are different roles that need specific skills to be covered effectively.
The UX designer and the service designer have a similar approach to the user, the fundamental difference that the UX designer focuses on the digital, the service designer moves between the digital and physical world (phygital), so you need use more complex analysis tools.
So it's not a UX vs Service vs UI Design thing.
The research work carried out by both UX and the designer of the service will be carried out by the designer of the user interface, which is the purchase of the art director in traditional agencies.
