Hi everyone! 🌧️
Today I’m sharing a very cozy and relaxing rainy day off in Japan. Living here as a Filipino worker can be busy, but sometimes, slow days like this are exactly what we need to recharge. In this vlog, I spent the day at home enjoying simple but meaningful moments.
I started my day practicing guitar and played “You’ll Be in My Heart.” Music always brings me comfort, especially on days when I can’t go outside. Later, I started reading a book I’ve been wanting to read for a long time, “The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari.” It’s full of inspiration about life, purpose, and simplicity, and I just began my journey into it today.
I also took some time to prepare my balikbayan box for my family. Packing it slowly and carefully is always a meaningful task because it’s a way to send love and care back home, even from afar. When the rain finally stopped, I went to the supermarket to buy cup noodles and Japanese noodles to add to the box. Simple errands like this feel peaceful and grounding after a long week of work.
Even though the day was quiet, it was fulfilling. Sometimes, the little things, music, reading, packing gifts, and a simple grocery shopping , make life in Japan feel cozy and full of meaning.
If you enjoy watching daily life in Japan, cozy routines, or balikbayan box preparations, you’ll love spending this rainy day with me. Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe if you want to see more of my life here in Japan!
