The solo production of the Colombian composer and sound designer Juan Pablo Vèlez aka. JPVZ can best be understood as a distillation of various genres embodied in their releases to date. Originally from the city of Bogotá, Juan has spent the last decade creating, innovating and participating together with other artists, accumulating great experience and inspiration, now projected in his works. He has focused on creating his own recognizable sound in his productions, combining a wide range of influences to create avant-garde music experiences; a mix of hypnotic, minimalist, subtle and melancholic sonic nuances. This makes his compositions range from ambient and experimental electronic music.
