12,800 years ago, something hit the Earth.

And in southern Turkey, hunter-gatherers with no agriculture, no pottery, and no metal tools built a stone temple aligned with the stars, that may contain the oldest written warning in human history.
This is the story of the Younger Dryas event, the Hiawatha Crater, and Göbekli Tepe, three discoveries that may be the same story, told three different ways, by three different generations of survivors.
