Caring for a wooden instrument (this also applies to laminate guitars, as their necks and other parts are still made of solid wood) is important. Not moisturizing your guitar can lead to:
• "grown frets" that scratch your hands
• risk of the bridge (the place where the strings are attached) coming loose
• cracks
When your guitar is in good condition, you can focus on what matters most—the music.
