Analyzing Pulsed Radar with the Field Master Pro Spectrum Analyzer
This video highlights how to use the Anritsu MS2090A Field Master Pro with the pulse analyzer option to make measurements on a pulsed radar. The video is made at the Mount Umunhum NEXRAD weather radar site using live signals. Highlights include using the RTSA to show the radar transmitting in real time, then zero span measurements to capture the pulse train. The pulse analyzer option is opened to enable detailed measurements, including pulse rise and fall time, pulse width and pulse power.
