I recreated the Hinokami Kagura “Second Form” flame effect from Demon Slayer inside Unreal Engine!
This real-time 3D VFX lets you view the Kagura flame from any angle, and I even tested it inside Fortnite UEFN — and it worked perfectly.
In this video, I show the entire process of turning the iconic Demon Slayer fire into a game-ready visual effect using Unreal Engine’s Niagara system.
From creating the material, building the mesh, testing particle variations, and attaching the flame to the sword animation — everything is covered step by step.
