The JAMstack is becoming ever more popular and with the crazy growth in frameworks like Next, React, Vue or Svelte it will keep getting more popular. In this javascript coding tutorial I go through most of the steps of building a music app on the JAMstack (Netlify).
In the video I use Nuxt.js with Netlify Functions to create a ‘serverless’ front-end, where you can list your favourite music on Deezer, with the Deezer API. The Node.js functions are used to communicate to the Deezer API (user and tracks) and return JSON to the Nuxt applications Vuex store. With Vue and it’s powerful engine, we can use all kinds of logic in the component templates. We even make use of the browser to remember users in localStorage.
