Snow Lion of Peace (2009) is a Tibetan folk song composed by Tashi Dhondup Sharzur (Techung) and arranged for cello solo, Tibetan singing bowl and string orchestra by composer William Susman at the suggestion of Tibetan singer Tsering Wangmo.
Performed by the San Jose Youth Chamber Orchestra with Graham Nelson, cello soloist and, Anthony Quartuccio, conducting. Premiered for His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama on the occasion of his visit to San Francisco, April 26, 2009.
