ME AND MY GIRL 1939 LIVE ONSTAGE
In 1939, the BBC actually filmed and then broadcast on the newly created BBC Television network, a live performance of "Me and My Girl" which was the biggest hit in the London West End. Featuring Lupino Lane and Teddy St. Denis, here's three minutes of the footage. I wish they would rebroadcast all of it, as it's a classic for students and fans of musical theatre.
