Fix VALORANT Download Stuck at 0.1KB/s | 🚀 Speed Up Riot Client Updates
If your VALORANT download speed suddenly drops to 0.1KB/s, you’re not alone. This issue often happens due to a bug in the Riot launcher, especially during updates or fresh installations. It can also occur if your internet connection isn’t stable enough.
🔹 Fix by Switching to Google DNS
1️⃣ Press Windows + R, type ncpa.cpl, and press Enter.
2️⃣ Right-click your active network adapter and select Properties.
3️⃣ Find Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and double-click it.
4️⃣ Select Use the following DNS server addresses and enter:
Primary DNS ➡ 8.8.8.8
Secondary DNS➡ 8.8.4.4
5️⃣ Click OK, then restart your Riot client.
🔹 Reset Your Network (If Still Stuck)
1️⃣ Click on the Windows icon, type cmd, then right-click Command Prompt and select Run as administrator.
2️⃣ Enter these commands one by one and press Enter after each:
➡IPconfig /Release
➡IPconfig /Renew
➡IPconfig /flushDNS
➡IPconfig /RegisterDNS
This will refresh your network settings and improve Riot server connectivity!
