Nearly 4 lakh students had registered for the SEBA HSLC Examinations this year.
Approximately 2.5 lakhs had registered for the AHSEC HS Final year examinations this year .

Secondary Education Board of Assam (SEBA) and Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) shall be announcing the board exam results soon, according to local media reports. SEBA is likely to announce the Class 10 results on July 30, 2021. Similarly, AHSEC is expected to announce the Class 12 board exam results on July 31, 2021. However, these claims are yet to be confirmed by the respective state board authorities. Once announced, students can check their results on the official websites i.e., sebaonline.org and ahsec.nic.in.

This year, the situation is quite different in terms of the Assam board exams. Unlike previous years, SEBA and AHSEC decided to cancel the Class 10 and 12 board exams due to the surge in COVID-19 cases. Students are now being evaluated based on alternate assessment criteria. This same situation is present in other states as well.
