In this project, Nusselt and heat transfer coefficient of nanofluid, multi-walled carbon nanotubes suspended in water (MWCNTs-water) with different volume fractions are calculated to increase the heat transfer of the heat exchanger relative to the water working fluid. The properties of the nanofluid (heat transfer coefficient, density, viscosity and specific heat coefficient) have been validated by an experimental model. The geometry is built and parameterized with COMSOL’s geometry tools.
