4K Video Edited to 1080 In FCPX
So I'm doing a little experiment with this video today. I'm curious to see how 4K video looks when you down-res (downsize resolution) into a 1080 HD video. The 4K video I shot was 3840 x 2160 pixels. I squeezed all that data into 1920 x 1080 and I'm using Final Cut Pro X as my video editor.
4K video has so much information and data within. My hope is that when I squeeze the video into 1080 it will make the 1080 HD video look awesome. 4K video on Youtube may not play as well for everyone who does not have a fast internet connection. 1080 video will most likely play better for most everyone.
I would love to hear your comments as to how the video looks and plays for you. Make sure to click the gear symbol on the Youtube player and select 1080 HD as your quality.
