How to bypass HDCP with HDMI!
A Quick Tutorial. I just bought AverMedia live gamer HD lite capture card and I couldn't get RECentral to record PS3 gameplay and sound was not working when game was launched. But I found a workaround and I would like to share it with other people who are having trouble with recording PS3 gameplay.
All you need is RECentral, OBS, 2 HDMI cables and AverMedia Live Gamer HD Capture Card.
Another method is to buy a HDMI splitter that strips HDCP. You can then record and play your ps3 games or any other copyright protected content.
