When you have received CE-30002-5 error code while updating the system software, please follow the steps below:
1. On your PS4 system, go to [Notifications] and delete any update notifications.
2. Turn off your PS4 system.
3. Hold the power button until you hear 2 beeps; one immediately and one 7 seconds later. Your PS4 will now boot in Safe Mode.
4. Connect your DS4 controller with a USB cable and press the PS button.
5. Select option 3: "Update System Software" and then "Update using Internet".
6. If the error persists, select option 5: "Rebuild Database" and try again.
If the steps above do not solve the issue, you may need to perform a new installation of the PS4 system software.
