In this Fast Tut I'll show you one way to clean up your masks through the Padding property from the Texture Settings panel in Substance Painter. This method is a very fast way to sharpen your masks by using UV islands.
It's important to keep in mind that to be able to use this setting you need to plan your UVs beforehand. There are many other ways to clean up your masks. I just thought this one was a clever and easy way to do it.

⯈ ABOUT
Hi guys! When I started learning CGI I got to a point where I was not a "beginner" level learner and it started to become a bit annoying finding this long tutorials (although some of them have incredibly useful information) where I just needed some very specific information to revisit.
So I'm giving it a shot to do some "FAST TUTS" tackling very specific topics, on how to do things I used to revisit every once in a while while working on projects. Hopefully you'll find them useful!
