There had to be a first video! I shared Thorn’s video first because he’s always been my go-to guy for house. We started learning House around the same time in ~2008/2009. Whenever I needed a dancer for a performance, project, etc, he’s in. He makes it happen with no excuses - maybe a few grunts here and there 😂

The day we made this video, I had spent 5 hours driving to and from Connecticut to visit my aunt, who is ill, though incredibly resilient. After an emotional afternoon, I did not have an overabundance of energy for our meeting, so Thorn helped collab on this routine. He also provided the song we used as well. We listened and threw spaghetti against the wall until this combo came out 🙏

I think we hammered this routine out in 20-30 mins in the Deborah Mason Performing Arts Center Inc. lobby. Speaks to the professionalism Thorn brings to projects like this, which is why he’s in this spot.
