How to fix - After Effects CS6 initializing MediaCore freezes at Startup
The Solution that worked for me.
You will need:
** Adobe CS6 Installer Setup
** Adobe CS5 Installer Setup
Un-Install Quicktime
Un-Install After Effect CS6/Premier Pro CS6
Delete Preference Folder (if it's already there)
Restart Computer
Use Adobe Cretive Cloud Cleaner(CC Cleaner) to clean all trace of adobe installation.

Restart Computer
Install "Adobe Creative Suit 6 Master Collection (Or After Effect Cs6/Premier Pro
CS6)
Install Quicktime
(and this is the trick) - Install Adobe CS5 - Premier Pro/After Effect
and that worked for me.
