How to Start a Dividend Portfolio
In this beginner's video I share what dividends are, how I’d pick a brokerage and what I’d recommend if I was starting, and what stocks I’d put in that starting portfolio.
If you are just interested in the stocks I’d put in a new portfolio, they are JNJ, PEP, PG, MCD, O, DUK, T, XOM, MMM, MSFT, DIS. I’d still love for you to watch the video though ;)
That being said, I’d tell my kids just to go with VTI or VOO and not pick individual stocks.
