I Tried the Most Violent Photorealistic Body-Cam Shooter Yet! - Better Than Dead
Better Than Dead is a brutal bodycam-style FPS set in Hong Kong, focused on intense combat, gritty environments and fast-paced action. In this early access first impressions, I jump in to see how the gameplay, gunplay and overall experience hold up. There’s definitely some promise here with impactful levels, solid performance and nicely detailed locations, but it also feels like it needs more time in development with noticeable jank, rough ragdoll physics and limited content right now. Still, there’s enough here that I’d happily revisit it later in early access if the roadmap improvements land well.
