Brandon Jarod gets very political in the burning "It Ain't Safe No More." Pulling from his Nirvana-like Grunge Rock influences, Brandon tells a tale of racial injustice and political unrest in his native country. He implores an angry mob to grab their weapons and invade the "palace" that governs the land. Brandon often tackles themes of rebellion in his music...the idea of changing the reality that one is living in as he/she see's fit.
Brandon gets plenty introspective on this song. Speaking as a black man in American he sings "I just want to know how it feels to be wanted" asking his listeners to sever the hands of the men that divide us as all as a global community.
