Life in the Taiga: How an Evenk Defended His Herd from a Bear
Ivan Arkadyevich isn't just a companion, but a true custodian of ancient traditions. He is a descendant of Evenk shamans, and these days, those who remember and speak the languages of the indigenous peoples of the North are becoming increasingly rare.
Of course, we couldn't pass up such a unique opportunity! Taking advantage of the opportunity, we asked Ivan Arkadyevich to share with us stories from the life of a reindeer herder in the vast taiga. These stories are imbued with the wisdom of their ancestors, the spirit of nature, and a difficult yet unique way of life.
