Seal Entangled In Rubber Seal
While seemingly harmless, many everyday items can pose a serious threat to seal populations. Rubber gaskets are one of the many hidden dangers for marine animals. What begins as innocent play can quickly turn into a life-threatening situation. Seals are curious creatures and might investigate ocean rubbish underwater until they become trapped. Unlike us, seals lack the strength and ability to break a gasket, with usually tragic outcomes. Instead, they are forced to suffer for weeks or months, until they suffer the final consequence for somebody else's unnecessary littering.
