Create a New Artboard:
Open Adobe XD and create a new artboard where you want to design your bottom animated menu.
Design the Menu Items:
Use the Rectangle tool to create the menu background at the bottom of your artboard.
Add text or icons for each menu item. Make sure they are evenly spaced and aligned within the menu background.
Group the Menu Items:
Select all the menu items and the background.
Right-click and choose "Group" or press Ctrl+G (Windows) or Cmd+G (Mac) to group them together.
Create the Expanded Menu State:
Duplicate the artboard by right-clicking on it in the Layers panel and selecting "Duplicate."
On the duplicated artboard, move the menu items downwards to create the expanded menu state. You can also change the opacity or add additional details to indicate the expanded state.
Design the Hover/Selected State (optional):
Duplicate the expanded menu state to create a hover or selected state for the menu items. You can change the color, text style, or add other visual cues to indicate interactivity.
Create the Animation:
Go back to the initial artboard (the one without the expanded menu).
Select the menu group.
Click on the "Prototype" tab on the top-left corner of the interface.
Drag the arrow handle to the duplicated artboard (the one with the expanded menu) to create a connection.
Choose the trigger for the animation. For a hover effect, select "Hover" as the trigger. For a tap effect, select "Tap."
Choose the type of animation you want (e.g., Auto-Animate).
Adjust the easing options and duration to control the animation's speed and style.
Test the Animation:
Click the "Play" button in the top-right corner to preview your animation and make sure it looks as expected.
Repeat for Other Menu Items:
If you have multiple menu items, repeat the above steps to create animations for each of them.
Link the Artboards:
Return to your main artboard and link each menu item to its respective artboard for the expanded menu state.
Preview and Share:
Use the "Share" feature in Adobe XD to create a shareable prototype that you can share with others for feedback.
Save and Export:
Save your XD project and export assets if needed.
