What is a jump link ?
HTML links are hyperlinks. The a tag defines a hyperlink and is used to link from one page to another. href attribute is used with the a tag, which indicates the link's destination. To create page links in an HTML page, we need to use the href.
Give a title to the text you'd like to link. First, make a title or name to the text you'd like to link on your webpage.
Put the title into an opening HTML anchor link tag.
Insert the anchor tags around the text you want to link to.
Create a hyperlink that leads you to the text.
This can be accomplished by incorporating an identifier attribute to the HTML element that designates the destination section. Once the target section has been identified, the next step is to create the link itself. This is done using the a tag with the href attribute set to the target id preceded by a “#” symbol.
