1. Log into the account, and then check out the top righthand hamburger menu
2. Toggle the account privacy settings and double-check with the warning screen
3. Now your Instagram is private!

To turn your Instagram back to public:
1. Uncheck the private account button
2. Confirm with the prompt that, yes, you want to switch to public
