Converting photoshop illustration (raster) into an illustrator file (vector)
I had a client recently ask me to take an illustration I created for use on web and make it print-ready for a t-shirt design. The shirt art will be silk screen printed so I had to limit color usage and detail.I show my process where I take a photoshop illustration and step-by-step convert it into vector are using illustrator. In this video I give a few hints on how to retain as much detail as possible to retain the original look and how to build it using separate layers and the trace image function in illustrator.
