What is the difference between home peels and professional peels? What are the benefits of peels, we cover this along with the different types of chemical peels and strengths?

Learn Your Skin

Your skin type – its age, resilience and sensitivity – deter- mines the strength or level of your peel. By knowing what your skin tolerance is and understanding how your skin reacts towards certain products, ingredients, and strengths, you will maximize your results!

Know Your Strengths

Daily-Use Peels- These micro/mini peels are our most gentle. Safe for daily use and the most sensitive skins. Use daily to keep skin clear, bright and blemish-free.

Level 1- Light or lunchtime peels, these are stonger than micro peels, but rarely cause redness or peeling. Great for sensitive skin, for those who are new to peeling, and for maintaining clear, glowing skin.

Level 2- Twice as strong as Level 1, these peels are perfect for non-sensitive skin, rough skin, and skin in need of correction more than maintainence. Visible peeling and redness is possible. With these stronger, effective peels, it is important to follow directions exactly, especially with the first peel.

Level 3- Medium-depth peels, these should be used only after skin has tolerated Level 2 peels without irritation. Recovery may require downtime. Currently only provided to skin professionals.

Level 4- These deep, strong peels can have great benefits but require anesthetic and professional application in a doctor’s office or surgical center. They are not safe for home use and are currently not provided by Perfect Image.
