Amazing 120cm Aquascape Setup (2026) | 150 Days Start to Finish (Cinematic)
This is the complete record of a 150-day journey to create a 120cm aquascape, beginning in the still-chilly season on January 12, 2026.
At its core are vines and wood gathered from my own garden, thoughtfully structured alongside Fuzan stone.
Following a 41-day Dry Start Method, flooding the tank brought the inevitable trials of nature: unexpected floating driftwood and an outbreak of cyanobacteria, a notorious enemy of aquascapes.
My chosen solution was diligent manual removal.
By utilizing Brazilian Pennywort to absorb excess nutrients, and committing to the steady, seemingly monotonous rhythm of maintenance, true nature slowly took root within the glass.

■ CO2 Injection: 2-3 drops per second
■ Liquid Fertilizer Management: Dosed during water changes, keeping potassium, minerals, and iron slightly below standard levels to restrict excess nutrients.
