In our production today, we share some excerpts from a meeting we had with a wonderful grandmother, as always, in her home in the center of Milan, a splendid penthouse straight out of the Arabian Nights. Her name is Susanna and she is 59 years old. Susanna has a beautiful grandson named Leonardo and has been a grandmother for five years. Our beautiful grandmother, as you can see, is a fairly well-off woman; she has traveled far and wide for work, and today the time has come to slow down the pace of daily life and enjoy the fruits of a lifetime of work, in peace and relaxation. Susanna is undemanding; she enjoys enjoying her grandson, few other things, and a great love of reading. She usually reads for hours in the afternoon, and every now and then she doesn't miss a good glass of white wine. She reads and devours entire books in a few days, a great passion of hers. She has so many books that she had to have a custom bookcase built in the room below, which spans the entire wall. Plans are underway to design and build a new bookcase to display in this room, with an L-shape and various staggered and asymmetrical shelves. We've seen a first draft on paper and it strikes us as a true feat of superior engineering.
