How to See Your Wireless Network Security Key (Password) in Windows 10
Method 1 :
-- Press Windows + X
-- Click on Control Panel
-- Open "Network And Sharing Center"
-- Click here, make sure that you are already connected to network
-- Click on Properties tab
-- Click on Security tab
-- Check show characters to see your password in plain text
Method 2 :
-- Network Key can be retrieved by changing or modifying your router settings.
-- Open Microsoft Edge web browser. To navigate to router settings page, we need to enter our Default getway, (generally it is 192.168.1.1). Default getway can be retrieved by entering "ipconfig" command in an elevated command prompt
-- Press Windows + X
-- Click on command prompt (admin)
-- Type ipconfig then press enter, this will print your default getway on screen
-- Select default getway and right click to copy it to yoru clipboard
-- Paste default getway in URL tab , then press enter to open it
-- Enter Username and password of your router to log in
-- Different routers have different settings. Process to retrieve network key will not be similar for all routers.
-- Go to wireless setup tab of your router
-- Click on Manual Wireless Connection Setup
-- Your network key will be shown in plain text in wireless tab
