Through the music in 'Descent', Swiss pioneer Christophe CALPINI presents a sensitive minimal electroacoustic blend, where a sole and repetitive sensitive piano note triggers and echoes a highly emotional electronic melody mixed with strings layers and recurring high-pitched tones hinting at gleams of hope.
The track 'Descent' belongs to 'SLIT SENSILLA', Christophe CALPINI's first solo album recently released by Just Temptation Recordings (Feb. 2013). As a pioneer of Swiss hip-hop and European electro-jazz music (Mobile in Motion, Stade, Dog Almond and Alain Bashung), Calpini's album originally embodies alternative-electronic, rhythmic and highly emotional soundscapes, this way unveiling a unique cinematic universe.
