The earliest versions of the Microsoft Windows operating system were just applications that ran on top of the MS-DOS operating system.
Modern versions of Windows do retain a DOS-like user interface called the "Command Prompt“, which allows Windows users to issue DOS commands to the system
In this Video we are trying to show/execute DOS (Internal & External) commands in Windows 10 Shell prompt. Windows OS supports these commands as Internal commands in its shell prompt.
Enter into the Shell or Command Prompt by typing cmd in Run dialog box.
We discussed more about DOS in DOS COMMANDS - PART1 video.
DOS File Systems and Commands are not case sensitive (We can use either upper or lowercase letters).
